When you hear the words "Summer Reading", I'm sure that you picture a rectangular object with many pages. However, it's the 21st Century, and you are juniors now. You know a lot about your own interests and ideas.
Your task?
Choose a regular columnist in an area of interest to you (there are regular columns written on topics from sports to monster trucks to fashion to farming to anything else you can think of). The columnist write for a magazine, website, or blog, but must write a regular column.
Follow this columnist, writing a short response at least bi-weekly to topics raised by your columnist and culminating with a letter to teacher about your experience following a columnist.
